Apple TV+, Emmy Ödüllü Tobias Menzies’in başrolünde olacağı gerçek suç mini dizisi 15 Mart'ta geliyor.

Dizi, 13. Amerikan Başkanı Abraham Lincoln’ün suikastçısı John Wilkes Booth’un avlanma hikayesini anlatacak.

Emmy, Golden Globe, PGA ve WGA adayı Monica Beletsky (I Am the Night, Fargo, The Leftovers) tarafından yaratılan dizi, James Swanson’ın çok satan “Manhunt: The 12-Day Chase for Lincoln’s Killer” kitabından uyarlanıyor.

Tobias Menzies, Booth’u yakalama ve Lincoln’ün mirasını gerçekleştirme ihtiyacıyla neredeyse deliliğe sürüklenen Lincoln’ün Savaş Bakanı ve arkadaşı Edwin Stanton rolünde karşımıza çıkacak. Apple serisi kısmen tarihi kurgu ve kısmen komplo gerilimi olarak tanımlanıyor ve ilk Amerikan başkanlık suikastının ardından ve Lincoln’ün Yeniden Yapılanma planlarının temeli olan idealleri koruma ve koruma mücadelesi üzerine odaklanacak.

Dizi, Apple TV+ için Apple Studios tarafından ve POV Entertainment, Walden Media ve 3 Arts Entertainment ile birlikte Lionsgate tarafından ortaklaşa üretidi. Layne Eskridge (POV), kitabın yazarı James Swanson, 3 Arts’tan Michael Rotenberg ve Richard Abate, Walden Media’dan Frank Smith ve Naia Cucukov dizinin yönetici yapımcıları arasında.
